Six Years!!

I can't believe that it has been six years already. Time seems to have gone by so fast.
I love you Michael!

Mike always brings me different kinds of flowers for birthdays, mothers days, and anniversaries. This year for our anniversary it was red roses. It was been a while since he had given me roses and they are beautiful.

You Will Be Missed!!

This last week has been a hard week. On Saturday, April 3, my dad under went major surgery to correct a problem he was having with his intestines. They took out most of this intestines..all but about 4 feet. He was in the ICU in Tillamook, Oregon where my parents live all week. He had been improving all week, with some ups and downs and then on Sunday April 11, they found he was having an internal problem they weren't sure exactly what, but that they needed to go back in to correct it. When they were putting him under for surgery his heart gave out, and passed away. I was able to talk to him before he went into surgery which I was glad. He will be missed.

Life

I have liked Family Circus ever since I was little. I saw this in the Sunday paper and couldn't help cutting it out. This is life as I know it. It starts with Abby (the youngest) and rubs off on Austin (the oldest). But I sure love them.

Easter

This year Easter was a little sad for me. On Saturday I got a phone call while watching conference from my brother Jeremiah saying that my dad had to been taken into emergency surgery that he had a blockage and that it wasn't allowing blood flow to his intestines. When they took him into surgery they gave him a 50/50 chance to survival...he is still in the ICU and not doing great but time will tell.

However we went to stay at Joel and Cindy's House (Mikes Brother and his wife) for Easter and the Easter bunny did find us there.

The kids had a good time coloring Easter eggs. Austin especially liked sticking the stickers on the eggs before putting them in the coloring. He didn't want to share the stickers.

These are all the eggs we colored.

The Easter Bunny hid eggs (plastic ones with jelly beans inside) around the living room for the kids to find. After Abby found out they had candy inside them she wanted to open them all up as soon as she found them.

Austin loved finding the eggs...he had a hard time letting Abby find the eggs and pick them up. He wanted them all.

Shoes

Abby has this thing with shoes...she has to wear everyone's but her own. Her latest is to wear Austin's crocs that no longer fit him. As you will notice they are on the wrong feet today.

Austin needed a picture taken of his feet to.

House Pictures

Here are the most recent pictures of the house. They started bricking on the side so this one is almost done except for the keystones on the windows. I know these pictures look different colors, but they were taken within minutes of each other.
Here is a closeup on the windows. They have a cool sawtooth design around them with Keystone on the center of the top.
The drywall should be finished being hung Monday or Tuesday so I will get some pictures when it is finished.
