Gus Gus

Mike said our little mouse looked like Gus Gus from Cinderella...Well he is no more. We caught him this morning with some Peanut Butter (thanks Rozanne). He ate all my cheese last night so I put out some peanut butter this morning and now he is gone. I am fine with setting the trap, and putting it out but I dont like emptying it. That is Mikes job :)

A Little Friend

I am not a big fan of having to take care of animals. Maybe that is because I never had animals growing up. Unless you count fish, we always had fish. Austin keeps telling me we need to get a dog...but I am out, We also have been told me need to have a cat, if only to just be able to keep any mice away, since we live in the country.

Well Mike told me that there was something in the garage...a mouse. So I told him I would set a trap, so I got some cheese found a trap and went to the garage to set it. I was trying to decide where to put in when I heard some noises but our trash cans.
Austin told me we need to set this kind of trap (minus the candy). He said we needed to make a nice bed for him with some leaves and stuff under the box.

I told him I was setting a regular trap, for our mouse. But he said we can't keep him if we set that kind of trap. As you can see he isn't going for my trap very good.

I hope he goes for the trap soon I dont really like mice so good.

The Cookie Monster

Eli seems to be growing so fast. I had to upgrade his clothes to the next size because all of his pants were getting to small. I found this shirt and pants in them. I think they are cute. And I had pictures of Austin wearing them so I thought I would post of picture of both.

This one is Eli. He is bald compared to Austin at that age.

This one is Austin when he has Eli's age.

I want to play too!

Eli is getting old enough to think he is big enough to play. Eli turns as far around in his chair as he can so he can see the other kids playing. He also tries to turn upside down so he can see too. It is pretty funny.

Eli found some paper to play with. He thought it was the best toy ever...until he got a piece stuck on the back of his tongue and started gagging him.

Eli is also learning how to get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth.
