Another ER Visit!

On Thursday Evening we spent a couple hours in the ER. But if you were to guess with who you would probably be wrong! Mike! Mike never has accidents, that is usually me! Stake mens basketball just started. Mike came home from basketball a little early not looking so good. I had been working on getting some frames put together so I didnt' really notice anything wrong until Mike said "MJ I think I might need to go get stitches". I looked and his finger looked AWFUL. He managed to get his finger bent so far back that is ripped the muscles which in turn ripped his skin open causing him to need three stitches. Thankfully the kids were all in bed and Mikes parents came down to be here with the sleeping kids while I took Mike to go get stitches. We forgot to get pictures of it before it got stitched. It doesn't look near as bad as it looked before the stitches with all the muscles coming out of the hole :) At least no bones were broken and the tendons weren't ripped it was just he muscle and the skin. It could have been a lot worse.


Needless to say I think he will be out for the season. And this was the first game. Poor Poor Mike!

Winter Crafts

I have been working on this wall hanging for a while. I got the spring side done, and then I stopped. I decided I needed a winter side because we only have a Christmas wall hanging and I wanted a winter one. I decided to do two in one since it is hard to get up there to hang it or hard to get mike to get up there and hang it. I have been working on frames for my winter stitching as well but they aren't quite done. I guess I will save that for another post.
