Katrina's Wedding (Portland, OR)

Emily, Kim and I at Katrina and Brandon's Wedding. We were waiting for them after the sealing.
Watching Pictures...There were so many :)

The Brides Family
My Dad (Donald) holding Abby. She kept eating everything she could find. And we were trying to prevent her form getting to dirty.

We were trying to keep Austin from escaping. He really wanted to swim in the fountain. We were trying to prevent that.

Kim was having fun putting the beads from the tables on Abby. Abby really liked it until Kim tried to remove them. It was so cute.

Austin's 3rd Birthday

Happy 3rd Birthday Austin. Since the kids and I were gone for both the kids birthdays we decided to celebrate them both when we got back here is Austins and his cake. Austin got a matching animal game from Grandpa and Grandma Ricks and we got him a bike. He hasn't quite figured out how to ride it but I am sure he will.

Poor, Poor, Austin!

We always have some sort of accident when we come to Tillamook to visit my parents....I am not sure why. At least this time it didn't constitute a visit to the Emergency Room. Austin is so sad each day when his grandma has to go to work. She works the swing shift so she leaves for work about 3 pm and gets home about midnight. So today we decided to take a little visit to the Cheese Factory to see grandma at work...(She works in packaging where you can see them package cheese down below.) We just point her out to Austin so he can wave. We waved to her and then decided we would get some ice cream and then sit at the window and watch her work for a while. Since that is what Austin wanted to do. Austin was playing with the slider dividers (like they have at the bank to keep people in line) while we waited to ice cream and he managed to tip one over on him...it looks so sad..I have included a picture.

That sign got him good!

Joshua's Fare well (We love you Joshua)

Joshua likes to make cool cakes. Since he got called to Brazil he wanted to make a cake of the Brazil flag. So we worked for a couple hours on it.

Brazil...Here comes Elder Workman!

Austin and Milayna wanted to have their own scripture to take to church just like everyone else had. Here they are ready for church.

Making dinner after church, before Joshua's farewell party.

Joshua's farewell party. They are trying to teach Abby to walk...it's not turning out very well she just wants to sit down or crawl.

Playing at the Beach

Austin loved playing in the sand with his cousins.
The babies all wanted to eat the sand, and the rocks in the sand.
Here is all of us and the beach.

Abby's 1st Birthday

Abby liked the book she got from Grandma and Grandpa Ricks. She also liked the pop up game that we gave her but she really liked the cake as you can see. We celebrated their birthdays together but they each got their own cake which Austin especially liked.

Vacation

I have decided to take a little vacation with me and the kids. Mike had to work and since I wanted to go to a couple of my cousins weddings and see my youngest brother before he leave on his mission to Brazil I came to Oregon for two and a half weeks. We have been hanging out with my parents and my family in Tillamook for the last week. I have taken the kids to the beach and they really liked it. Austin loves any kind of water that he can play in (Even if it is as cold as the Oregon Coast) and Abby loved playing in the sand. We also got to see my brother and his fiance' and their little girl. She is absolutely adorable!
I love my kids to death but sometimes they are not the funnest, every time we travel it seems like my kids get sick. And this vacation is no different. Austin started throwing up each night so I am getting really good at cleaning up carpets. Abby started getting really high fevers every night. I couldn't figure out why she wasn't sleeping and having high fevers and I found that she is getting some teeth...six to be exact. Yes you read that correctly she is getting her top six front teeth...Poor Poor Abby. They have come though and she is much happier but for a while there I thought I might go crazy from lack of sleep!
I have one more week here and then I will start the return trip home and be back July 27. I am sure Mike will be happy to have us home again, I think he is getting pretty lonely being home alone. We love you Mike!! When we call to talk to Mike Austin always has to hold the phone and talk to his Daddy all by himself. He is getting so big.

Bryan and Angie's Reception

Bryan and Angie got married in Mexico and then had a reception in Oregon. They has all kids of outdoor mexican games and then they had these beach balls for the kids to play with. If you know Austin you know he loves balls.

Bryan and Angie..the Bride and Groom.

Do you like Abbys how attached to the 5 hairs that she has on her head. I thought it was pretty funny.

They had Mexican horse races. They were really funny. There is a wooden horse attached to a string. You had to twist the string onto the post as fast as you can the first horse to reach the finish line wins. It was funny to see the kids do it, and even funnier to see the adults do it. This is my cousins little girl that is Austins age doing it.

Playing at the Browns

Once we got to Oregon we went to my Aunt Diana and Uncle Dales house. Austin thought for sure since Uncle Dale was Grandpa Dale to Milayna he must be Grandpa Dale to him as well. So here are Austin and Milayna with Grandpa Dale

Austin, Abby, and Milayna loved to play in Grandpa Dale's garden. They had so much fun picking peas, strawberries, and tomatoes.

Fishing

On the 4th of July Mike and his dad decided to go fishing. They took Austin. I think Austin had more fun on the boat than he did when they caught some fish. He just wanted to always have the boat moving.
