Back to Life!

This last few days Mike and I made a quick trip down to Tennessee. We left our kids with Mikes sister Candace and her family in Boise. The kids had a great time and when Austin woke up in the morning he wanted to know if he could go back to Ashlyn's house and play. Thank you Candace and Aaron for taking such good care of our kids while we were gone.
Mike and I spent a few days with his sister Rozanne and her family in Tennessee. While taking care of some things we had to do down there. It was fun to be able to see some sights and do something that was just the two of us. But now we are back to life, and the kids, which is nice. I always forget how much I miss the kids when we are away. It seems like when they are small they learn so much, on the way home Abby was talking and I thought, did she talk that well when we left we were only gone 4 days. Kids sure do grow up fast.

It's a....

Well we found out today that we are having a BOY!! I am sure that Austin will be excited to have a brother around the house, and I am sure when he gets big enough to play Abby will be glad so he is not so ruff with her...but that will be a while. Now just to come up with some names.

WHAT A DAY!!

Well today started out like any other Wednesday. I woke up at 4:30 to go to my aerobics class came home and slept for a few hours until the kids got up, ate breakfast and then let the kids play while I was getting stuff ready for the craft my friend Laura and I have been getting ready to do.
We are making magnet boards. We are making 5 that are 2x2 and 2 that are 2x3. Today we were going to get them nailed together and filled with wood fill to be ready to sand and paint and attach the metal.
We got them all put together and I went out and got the metal to make some nail start holes in them while we were waiting for the glue to dry. Abby loves shiny stuff..I didn't think anything of it until...it fell on her and sliced her foot open. My first thought was great another trip to the emergency room for stitches, so at just 18 months Abby is following in Austin's footsteps and heading the emergency room for stitches.

This is Abby's poor foot! So sad she can't even really walk because it hurts her to bad.

This is the craft we have been working on. The frames are at least put together.

Austin's New Trick

Austin wanted to show everyone his new trick! Especially Milayna!

Trusses

Our house is still coming along. . . We have had some delays getting the trusses but things are back on a roll. It has been way cold out. . . which is kind of nice because all the mud is frozen and you can walk on it to check out the house :) Mike informed me that they got a bunch done after they took this picture today I guess I will post more after they finish the garage trusses. (I know there is no windows that is because since our windows are still on order they haven't cut them out.)
